Terms of Use

1. About these terms

By downloading or using HappyPartners, you agree to these terms. HappyPartners is built and operated by one independent developer. If something here doesn't work for you, stop using the app — and feel free to email [email protected] so we can understand why.

2. Beta software

HappyPartners is currently in Beta. That means:

• There will be bugs. Some will be ours. Some will be from AI platforms changing their interfaces.
• Behavior may change between versions without notice.
• Data formats may change; in rare cases, local data may need to be reset.

Use it for real work if you want, but keep your own backups of anything important.

3. Your AI platform accounts

HappyPartners shows AI platforms (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, etc.) inside native webviews. You log into each platform with your own accounts. That means:

• You are solely responsible for your logins, subscriptions, and for following each platform's own terms of service.
• We have no relationship with those platforms. We're not affiliated with them, endorsed by them, or operating on their behalf.
• If a platform suspends your account, changes pricing, or breaks something, we can't help with that directly.

4. Your content

What you type into HappyPartners and what the AIs generate back belong to you (and the AI platforms, per their terms). We don't claim ownership of your conversations, and we don't send them to our servers.

5. License keys

When you receive a Beta or paid License Key, it's for your personal use. Specifically:

• One key binds to one machine (via a hashed machine ID).
• Don't share, resell, or publicly post your key.
• We may revoke keys that appear on multiple machines, are posted publicly, or are used to abuse AI platforms.

6. Acceptable use

Don't use HappyPartners to:

• Violate laws, including intellectual property law.
• Abuse, overload, or circumvent the terms of any AI platform the app connects to.
• Produce content that harms others (harassment, CSAM, coordinated disinformation, etc.).
• Reverse-engineer the app for the purpose of creating a competing product, or extract/republish our trademarks and branding.

7. No warranty

HappyPartners is provided "as is". We don't guarantee that it will work perfectly, be available without interruption, be free of bugs, or produce any particular outcome. Don't rely on it alone for safety-critical, medical, legal, or financial decisions.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages (lost revenue, lost data, missed deadlines, reputational harm) arising from your use of HappyPartners. Our total liability, if any, is capped at the amount you paid us in the past 12 months — which for most Beta users is zero.

9. Termination

You can stop using the app at any time. We can revoke your license if you abuse it, breach these terms, or do things that put AI platforms or other users at risk. In those cases, no refund is owed.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Taiwan. Any dispute that cannot be resolved by correspondence will be handled in the competent courts of Taiwan.

11. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced to Beta users by email, and the "Last updated" date above will change. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the new terms.
